We have all heard about the “mind-body connection.” Indeed, physical health and mental health are inextricably connected – with each affecting the other. Still Waters therapist Allen Finkel has developed an innovative form of therapy which integrates the treatment of mind and body. This accelerates change and helps the client develop a lifestyle that will maintain those gains.
Allen’s form of treatment is quite effective when your physical health is negatively affecting your mental health, or vice versa; when traditional methods of therapy have not worked; when you have a weight or eating issue, or when you decide “it’s time to do something different”
Allen works with clients individually to set up personalized goals that are reachable. Treatment involves both “talk therapy” as well as actively guiding clients through the physical movements involved in their program.
