Nic Cooper, Ed. D., LPC Nic joined Still Waters in April, 2008 after 34 years in education, most recently as principal of Saline Middle School. He also has worked as a substance abuse therapist, working with adolescents and adults, been a probation officer and a consultant to businesses and schools. Nic is a graduate of Wittenberg University (BA, psychology), Western Michigan University (MA, counseling), and Eastern Michigan University (Ed.D., educational leadership). He is certified as a Master's Social Worker and a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is also the co-author of the book "How to Keep Being a Parent When Your Child Stops Being a Child." In addition to his work at Still Waters, he is also on the faculty at Baker College in Jackson and a leadership coach with Central Michigan University.
